Current Status of Model

On this page I shall try and keep the most up to date record of the models progress.

I have not been able to work on the model since September last year. Initially due to a muscle injury and then because my unheated workshop was too cold during the winter. I hope to be back on it in the next few weeks.

My first job will be to make a small adjustment to the radiator mounting as this is throwing the radiator slightly off vertical. Then I intend to work on the passenger compartment. The front entry door partition needs to be painted, the hand rails added, the two internal windows glazed and then the partition can be fixed in to position.

The marble effect flooring needs to be completed then all the seats can be fixed in to place and the interior panelling below the windows can begin. I am hoping that at this point I will be able to mount the luggage shelves and get the interior lighting wired up and working.

This is the state as of 14th April 2014

I've just found your blog and I'm really shocked.
I wanted build one of this and I have to say I thought it would be imposible....up to now. Wow, fantastic work, absolutely outstanding. I started to save and studying all the process. I work in a smaller scale (1:72) but your work is a fantastic reference for any scale.
